Cultivate psychological wellbeing and physical ease through learning the principles of mindfulness meditation and restorative yoga
Mindfulness is a natural process of learning to bring deep attention to our moment-to-moment experience – just as it presents itself - physically, mentally, and spiritually. In this course, you will learn practical skills, that when applied regularly, develop physical and emotional wellbeing. Through meditation practice, you will learn to soften the cycles of stress, anxiety and disruptive thinking …meeting whatever is going on in your world with greater ease and mindfulness.
This one-day course will offer an opportunity to experience varied approaches to meditation along with specific instructions on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness practices. You will learn to befriend your body and regulate your nervous system through deep rest and soft breathing. These varied strands of practice will then be drawn together in a simple, personalised form that can be easily incorporated into all aspects of your life – regardless of how busy you might consider your schedule to be!
Whether you have some meditation experience or are new to the practice of mindfulness – all are welcome.
